Pattyfest: festival desctiption

Dear Old-Time Music Lover:

Few people have contributed as much to old-time music as Patty Looman. Through her mentoring, playing, teaching, and setting an example of the spirit of the music and its joys, Patty influenced the lives of many students within and outside West Virginia. We thought an old-time music festival should be held in her honor to thank her for her unselfish giving, and PattyFest was born in 2002. With Patty’s passing in 2012, PattyFest is now held to honor her memory. And so we will meet for a day of music every year. Thank you, Patty, for the happiness you brought to our lives through your music.

We invite you all to join in the musical festivities at PattyFest, held at East Fairmont High School in Fairmont, West Virginia.
